Description of some of the services offered:
Swedish Massage:
Swedish massage involves the use of massage oils to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes over the entire body. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. Other classic Swedish massage moves include kneading, friction, stretching and (sometimes) tapping.
Deep Tissue:
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish Massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions.")
Prenatal:
In normal, healthy pregnancies, massage has proved to be beneficial to both mother and unborn child. Properly applied massage can aid relaxation, benefit circulation, and soothe nerves. Prenatal massage is applied like any regular massage except pillows are used in positioning safety and comfort.
Chair Massage:
Provided for wellness/spa parties and employee appreciation days at your location (depending on distance). Chair massage is a short massage, anywhere from five to 30 minutes, done through the clothing. It typically focuses on key tension areas in the neck, shoulders, back and arms. Call for more details and pricing.
Aromatherapy:
The use of essential oils processed from herbs, flowers, fruits, stems, spices and roots in massage and inhalation to affect mood and improve health and well-being. Essential oils are added to the face cradle for inhalation and the massage oil penetrates the skin and imparts a subtle treatment only nature can provide.
EveryBODY deserves a massage!
